Dave & Buster’s opens at Eastwood Mall after major renovations

NILES, Ohio (WKBN) – Dave & Buster’s opened its first location in the Valley on Monday.

It’s located in the former Dillard’s space at the mall, which closed in the summer.

Since then, there were major renovations to turn the retail space into an entertainment and dining experience.

The popular arcade and restaurant chain has more than 150,000 locations across the U.S. There are Dave & Buster’s locations near Canton, Cleveland and Pittsburgh, but this is the first one in the Valley.

There’s a lot of fun packed in this space. A midway with over 100 arcade games and special VIP bays to rent out.

General Manager Kristen Harrison says it’s the perfect place to catch your favorite game.

“I have a 40-foot ‘wow wall’ where we will have all of the important games playing, and we have amazing speakers and surround sound so it’s a really immersive experience when watching the games,” she said.

Monday’s grand opening included a ribbon-cutting ceremony. For the opening, the first 100 people in line received play cards for the day.

A few people were waiting in line already around 8:30 a.m., two-and-a-half hours before Dave & Buster’s opened.

Dave & Buster’s is open every day and doesn’t close until at least midnight. Wednesday is half-price game day, and there is always a discount for first responders and military.
