Levin Furniture Outlet coming to Eastwood Mall Complex

A trusted name in home furnishings is about to arrive at the Eastwood Mall Complex in Niles, Ohio.  Levin Furniture Outlet will open its doors in late July.  The new store will be located in the Howland Commons section of the complex, near Kohl’s and Burlington.  It will occupy more than 61,000 square feet of space inside the former Gander Outdoor building.

Levin Furniture Outlet is the first of a new concept for the Levin chain.  It will feature overstock merchandise from other Levin stores, with famous brands such as Ashley, Flexsteel, Lane, Serta, Stearns & Foster, Tempur-pedic, Sealy and many more.

 Levin Furniture was founded in 1920 by Sam and Jessie Levin, in Mt. Pleasant, Pennsylvania.  It grew to become one of the largest furniture retailers in western Pennsylvania and eastern Ohio.  In 2017, outside investors purchased the company but quickly encountered financial difficulties.  This year, Robert Levin, grandson of the founders, re-purchased the chain out of bankruptcy, along with partners John and Matt Schultz.  The “new” Levin Furniture company currently operates 17 stores in the Cleveland and Pittsburgh areas, in addition to with the soon-to-open Levin Furniture Outlet.

The Eastwood Mall Complex is located at 5555 Youngstown-Warren Road, in Niles, Ohio.  It is one of America’s largest shopping complexes, with more than 200

department stores, specialty shops, restaurants, hotels and entertainment options.  The
