Tasty and Tasteful – A tale of two Grand Openings in one week

     The Eastwood Mall Complex will welcome the opening of not one but two great additions next week.  On Tuesday, April 25, Longhorn Steakhouse will fire up the grill for its first diners.   Located at the corner of Route 46 and Eastwood Boulevard (across the parking lot from Home Depot), The 5,700 square foot restaurant will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 1 PM, with the doors opening for customers at 3 PM.  At Longhorn, they’re passionate about serving great steak, but also offers a plentiful assortment of chicken, ribs, seafood and salads.

            On Thursday, April 27, HomeGoods will celebrate its Grand Opening.  The store will be open 8 AM – 10 PM (Regular hours will be: Monday-Saturday 9:30 AM – 9:30 PM and Sunday 10 AM – 8 PM).  To mark the occasion, HomeGoods will donate $10,000 to Second Harvest Food Bank of the Mahoning Valley. The 22,112 square foot HomeGoods is located in the Howland Commons section of the complex, near Kohl’s.  It will offer an eclectic selection of home fashions from around the world, all at amazing prices. HomeGoods offers an ever-changing mix of merchandise, including furniture, rugs, lighting, decorative accessories, tabletop, cookware, and much more at prices 20%-60% below full-price retailers.

            Other big openings are coming soon at the Eastwood Complex.  On May 16, the Meijer Superstore will celebrate its Grand Opening. (The nearby Meijer gas station opened on April 20.)  Just across the parking lot, next to HomeGoods, a new Bass Pro Shops Outpost will open for business in late 2023.  Also in May, Auto Evolution/Noel’s Car Toys will open in a 36,000 square foot facility located near Bob Evans restaurant.
